Tom Golden has created a web place where men or women can honor a person in their life who died -- by writing about a part of their own grief and healing. Bereaved Families of Ontario/Metro Toronto

Founded in 1978 under the auspices of the Hospital for Sick Children, Bereaved Families is a mutual aid and self help organization staffed by bereaved persons. Specialists in grief and bereavement from the professional community serve as resources both in the development of on-going programs and in the support and training of group facilitators.

Center for Education about Death and Bereavement [King's College, Ontario]

King's College in London Ontario has had a Death Education Program since 1976. A certificate program in Palliative Care and Thanatology was started in 1994, some courses of which may soon be available by distance (e-mail) education. Host of fifteen international conferences on Death, Dying and Bereavement and the annual meetings of the International Work Group on Death, Dying and Bereavement (1986 and 1994) as well as that of the Association for Death Education and Counseling (1987).

Computerized Aids Ministries

CAM has been online since June 1993, sponsored by the Health and Welfare Ministries which assists United Methodists to become involved globally in health and welfare ministries. Site is searchable for AIDS/HIV information. Includes daily CDC advisories, inspiring stories, in memoriam, library via FTP.

Coping with Death - Manitoba Senior Citizens Handbook

Since its formation in 1980, the Manitoba Council on Aging has made numerous contributions to the communities of the province. The regular publication of the Manitoba Senior Citizens' Handbook has been a valuable asset to older Manitobans, their families and those who work with seniors. The fifth edition of the handbook online offers a wide range of information and resources. Coping with Death is only one section of many.

London Association of Bereavement Services

The London Association of Bereavement Services (LABS) is a forum for bereavement services throughout the Greater London area. It exists to promote good working practices in bereavement care across the Capital. It provides information and support to members of the public and to other professionals and offers support, training and guidance to its member services. It a registered charity with its major funder being the London Boroughs Grants Unit.

Natural Death Centre [London UK]
A non-profit charitable project launched in Britain in 1991, with three psychotherapists as directors. It aims to support those dying at home and their caregivers and to help them arrange funerals. It has as a more general aim that of helping improve 'the quality of dying'.
