Healthy Resources

Demand by the public for access to health information is on the increase. More and more consumers are interested in "taking charge" of their own bodies and health. In addition to visiting your health care provider on a regular basis, taking the time to know all you can about diagnosed health problems and knowing the rules for general good health, can improve the quality of your life.

These sites are helpful for individuals looking for information on a variety of health topics. The following are consumer-oriented health information. You may want to discuss the information you've learned with your healthcare provider PRIOR to trying it out. Check out the credentials of the "expert" at a website, to ensure they have the knowledge the training to give health advice.

Health professionals would be better to see the Medical, Nursing, and Telephone Triage related health sites.

Once again, surf carefully, and check out your sources of health information.
